Digital Media Services

The Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning offers a variety of digital media services to instructors to facilitate face-to-face, blended and online teaching.

Services include:

Video Production and Editing Services

The Delphi Center offers expert consultation and support services to instructors on the production of audio or video content for instructional purposes. Our team can collaborate with faculty members to identify the most effective approach to capture and deliver their course content.

We provide a range of support services and resources, including studio recording locations, remote recording support, screencasting, podcasting, and limited audio and video editing. Examples of prior projects produced with instructors include:

  • An introductory video for an online course
  • A lecture with or without PowerPoint slides
  • A podcast interview with a subject matter expert
  • A mock interview demonstrating effective and non-effective communication techniques

When recording is complete, a Delphi staff member will upload the project to a server, such as Panopto. A link or embed code will be provided to incorporate the recording into Blackboard.

Digital Media Suite

Faculty are welcome to use the state-of-the-art computer resources at the Digital Media Suite. Located on the first floor of Ekstrom Library, the DMS was created for students to work on digital assignments that are part of a course they are enrolled in at the time. Faculty can use the resources as a do-it-yourself process. Cameras, microphones, and other equipment are available for checkout. The DMS computer lab provides access to specialized hardware and software for recording and editing a variety of multimedia works. The DMS staff is available to support all users, faculty and students, in the creation and production of academic multimedia projects.
