Bring your course content to life with customized multimedia. The multimedia production team provides a range of services to enhance online learning experiences. Many services are available to all educators, while others are available for educators who have received the UofL Online Teaching Credential.

Services Available to All Educators

The multimedia production team offers consultations to all educators making their own multimedia projects. 

These consultations include:

  • Brainstorming multimedia ideas that align with learning objectives
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on existing video or media content
  • Guidance on scripting and storyboarding
  • Technical advice on recording equipment and software
  • Recommendations for hosting platforms and accessibility best practices

Services Requiring the Online Teaching Credential

Educators who have received the Online Teaching Credential can receive full production services, from initial concept to final product. This collaborative service is designed to create engaging, accessible materials that enhance online learning. 

Examples of multimedia projects include:

  • Instructor self-introductions
  • Animated explanations
  • Expert testimonials
  • Scenario-based learning
  • Demonstrations
  • Visual concept overviews

The multimedia creation process:

  • Pre-Production: Collaborate on goals, refine ideas, and assist with scripting, planning visuals, and scheduling
  • Production: Staff handles setup and filming on location or in one of the studios in Ekstrom Library
  • Post-Production: Staff edits the material, coordinates reviews, makes final edits, and delivers the finished product
