We’re excited to offer support designed to make your semester prep easier, faster and more consistent. Our goal is to help you deliver high-quality, well-designed courses with minimal stress. Whether you’re preparing for a new semester or managing multiple sections in real-time, we’ve got you covered! Many services are available to all educators, while others are available for educators who have received the UofL Online Teaching Credential.

Services Available to All Educators

The course support group offers support for all faculty to help create smooth and effective online and in-person teaching experiences. We can assist with a wide range of needs, from troubleshooting technical issues to optimizing the use of educational technologies.

  • General Consultations: All faculty members have access to request consultations through the Delphi Center for any design or facilitation need.
  • General Accessibility Support: We can assist you by identifying areas to increase accessibility and offering technical know-how to make course materials accessible.
  • Specialized Educational Tool Consults: Our team can meet to discuss how to effectively use these tools to enhance teaching and learning and to identify tools that may meet your pedagogical needs.

Services Requiring the Online Teaching Credential

Educators who have received the Online Teaching Credential can receive the full suite of services outlined below:

  • Initial Consultation and Timeline Planning: We can complete a brief needs assessment and plan to ensure your course is ready on time.
  • Full Course Copying: We’ll replicate all your course components - assignments, discussions, quizzes and multimedia - accurately in the new shell.
  • Updates and Customization: Need changes? We’ll help refresh content, update policies or dates and customize materials for your new student cohort.
  • Quality Assurance Checks: We thoroughly review your course to ensure functionality, consistency and alignment with accessibility standards.
  • Ongoing Technical Support: We’re here to talk through how to leverage technology in support of your pedagogical goals throughout the semester.
