Delphi Center Event Registration System Support

The Delphi Center uses a Microsoft Power Apps registration system for events and programming. Registration is available to all that have a University of Louisville Microsoft account. Users may register for sessions on a computer or mobile device.

Quick Start Guide

Follow these simple steps to register for a Delphi Center event:

  1. Open the registration link in your web browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome or Edge). Do not download the Microsoft Power Apps application. 
  2. Select Allow for Microsoft permissions. The first time you use the system, a Microsoft pop up will ask you to allow Delphi Session Registration to access your data. Select Allow to proceed. Learn more about the permissions below.
  3. Sign in with your UofL credentials, using your UofL username (fmlast01) and password. Approve Duo if prompted. 
  4. Finalize your registration for your selected session(s). 

Understanding the Microsoft Permissions

Our registration system runs on Microsoft Power Apps within UofL’s Microsoft 365 environment. Microsoft requires a one-time approval before the app can interact with your account. 

A permission pop-up will appear the first time you use the Delphi Session Registration System or after a Microsoft update. Select Allow to continue. Registration cannot continue without it.

Each connection Delphi Session Registration requests to use and the reason:

  • SharePoint: Saves and updates your registration to the Delphi registration list.
  • Office 365 Outlook: Sends your confirmation email and calendar invitation.
  • Office 365 Users: Reads your name and UofL email address to automatically fill them into the form.

Mobile Registration

Complete registration in your mobile web browser, not the Power Apps app.

When opening the registration link on a mobile device, your phone may request to download Power Apps. Choose the option that keeps you in the web browser (e.g., “Open in browser,” “Continue in browser” or “Not now”).

Troubleshooting Permissions

Please select Allow so that you may continue with registration. Occasional technical issues may occur:

  • If the screen asks you to refresh a connection or sign in again, select the option. This is only connecting and sharing info to UofL Microsoft systems.
  • If you closed the screen or selected “Don’t allow”, open your registration link again and select Allow when the box returns.
