Faculty Favorites Awards
About the Award
All faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistants nominated will be invited to attend the Celebration of Teaching and Learning. All student nominations are posted on the Faculty Favorite Award website.
Additionally, there will be a smaller pool named as top nominees drawn from those who receive the most nominations. These "Top" Faculty Favorites will be recognized campus-wide through UofL Today. Instructors are eligible to be featured as a "Top" Faculty Favorite every five years. Only one educator from a department will be recognized as a "Top" Faculty Favorite each year. The "Top" Faculty Favorite designation is awarded to current UofL faculty.
The Delphi Center is proud to announce a new partnership with the Student Government Association to enhance and oversee the Faculty Favorites program. To allow time for this collaborative effort, there will not be a nomination period during the Fall 2024 term. Instead, we will launch a single nomination period in Spring 2025 that will cover the entire academic year. We look forward to partnering with the SGA to celebrate outstanding teaching across the UofL community.
