Blackboard Advanced (2 hours)

This session provides advanced skills to facilitate online learning strategies through the use of the Blackboard system. Topics include how to engage your online learners through the creation of an online community by using Blackboard's communication tools, chat and virtual classroom as well as the use of the Manage Groups function; also to be covered are exam creation/deployment and grading functions, and the Content System: File Systems, which provides an effective way to collect, share, and discover educational content. You'll learn how to drag and drop content into Blackboard and organize files into personal, course, and institutional folders. It introduces many of Blackboard's document management capabilities including content sharing and workflow, tracking, and searching. (2 hours)
