Beginning Tai Chi

The classes will teach the 13 Posture Hand Form created by fourth generation Yang family descendent, Master Yang Zhenduo. The 13 Posture Hand Form is an excellent form for beginners, seniors or anyone wishing to explore the benefits of Yang Style Tai Chi. The movements of the 13 Posture Form are easy to learn and perform yet keep all the principles and important movements of the traditional long form.

This form offers a good way to maintain a daily health program when only a few minutes are available to do so. The form takes about 2 - 3 minutes to perform and can easily be done several times a day. This form is especially well suited for seniors by gently building strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination.
